What happens to Mobile VoIP?

By: Larry Stevens

Of all the new technologies that crop up recently, mobile VoIP is considered as one of the telecommunication technologies that give the latest and most innovative models all the time. Android™ and iPhone™ are amongst the most powerful mobile devices nowadays, with the exciting features they possess, and their combined availability to open another opportunity for VoIP users is superb. They just don’t allow regular phone calls with different destinations but they also make charges cheaper than expected.
There are however some limitations and obstacles with their availabilities and capabilities to users (battery life, bandwidth capacity, difficulty in using standard VoIP codecs, etc.). Nevertheless, they made a wise decision to tie up with other VoIP providers that are willing to embrace mobile VoIP to meet and reach their goals. It may not be as perfect as expected but this is far better than doing nothing at all.
This may be just one step amongst the many ways that they can possibly do. But for now, combining mobile VoIP with other providers is one of the amazing breakthroughs.
