“How to Use Fring and iPhone to Make Mobile VoIP Calls with Grnvoip”
If you use grnVoIP to make low cost international calls, and also own an iPhone or Android mobile device, you may find it helpful to be able to make VoIP calls directly from your cell phone to grnVoIP’s SIP proxy servers. This short guide will explain how to do it. There are only 5 simple steps needed to start making calls.
Before you continue, be sure that you have your grnVoIP account details on-hand, and that Fring is successfully installed on your phone.
1. After starting the Fring application on your phone, locate the Fring icon and click “MORE”
2. Select “Add ons”
3. Choose the icon “SIP”
4. Click “OTHER” then, in the next window, enter your account details
- User ID – This is the username you use to login to the grnVoIP portal
- Password – This is the password that you use to login to the grnVoIP portal
- Proxy- Domain – This is the domain assigned to you. It should be in the format xxx.paygvoip.com (where the xxx is replaced by your customer (brand) ID)
5. Click ‘Login’ and you can now start making Mobile VoIP calls
